WIN A YEAR OF ONLINE WRITING COURSES WITH WRITERS’ HQ!
To celebrate the launch of the brand new online writing courses from Writers’ HQ, they are running a competition to award FIVE deserving writers a year’s access to their programme - a prize worth over £500.
With the aid of a development grant from Arts Council England, they are ecstatic to be able to offer FIVE fully subsidised places on their new arse-kicking, profanity-laden online writing courses, covering everything from idea generation to short fiction to novel writing to manuscript submission.
The aim of the Writers' HQ competition is to help writers who normally wouldn’t be able to attend on-site workshops and courses due to difficult circumstances: people on a low income; single parents and those with young children; people with disabilities and/or mental health issues; people with tough work/study commitments; or anyone who struggles to find the time and resources to write.
Five lucky winners will receive a year’s complete access to the following courses, worth over £500 in total:
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: Submit EITHER the opening 1,500 words of a novel OR a short story up to 1,500 words (flash fiction also welcome!) AND a short application statement (up to 500 words) on why you would benefit from Writers’ HQ courses. DEADLINE: Midnight 14th August 2016.
